Yes, if your TV has an antenna input. That is one of the best parts. Most TVs from the last 15 years have a tuner built in, so you just plug the cable into the round input marked ANT or RF. Older TVs without a built in tuner need a small converter box. Smart TVs, 4K TVs and plain HD TVs all work the same way. After you plug it in, go to your TV menu, pick antenna, and run a channel scan.
